Career, Family and Retirement Planning
In Unit #7 the class will develop a plan for their financial future.  In this project they will
create a realistic plan for their future.  This plan will include education/training and how
to pay for it.  Students will search for real life jobs, housing, and transportation.  The class
will investigate their household expenses including food, utilities, insurance, and more.
Students will include plans for their future including career advancement/change, family,
and retirement.  This unit is designed to give students a realistic glimpse of how the future
they envision for themselves may work out.  The goal of this unit is to help the class
understand what it will take for them to reach their goals in life, and how to make
adjustments to help them get there.
